Hi, Woziers! This update focuses on optimization. Sentence-to-speech now starts faster, so the experience feels smoother when auto-speaking example sentences is enabled. I also did some invisible groundwork to prepare for an upcoming feature.

Hello, Woziers around the world! This is a quality improvement update. Better sentence-to-speech quality has been something we've always wanted for some time. I was really hoping to get a version that works offline well, but it's not a really suitable option after some research. In this update, I've added an online version, and it should be better than the default one. Give it a try and let me know your thoughts.

Hello Wozier around the world! We got something new and shinniny in this update

The first mode is "Dictation Mode", which lets you test whether you truly master a word. When this feature is enabled for a word that has already been marked "passed" twice, starting from the third time the word appears the sample sentence will be blurred. This gives you a chance to recall the spelling and write it down on paper to check your answer. This is an experimental feature and can be enabled under the More Settings tab.

Also, thanks for the feedback from one of the users: she needs to prepare word lists for her kids, so keeping it important would be too troublesome. Her suggestion is to add a way to extract words from pictures, and here it is—one more option to get words into the app. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Hello, this is a bug-fix update. Thank you for reporting the issues on iOS 17 iPad. This update addresses them.
